With the outburst of the Russian-Ukrainian war the Pureco decided to give a helping hand to the refugees and find an organisation to send humanitarian aid collected by all our colleagues.

We were informed on 1st of March that 37 Ghanaian students arrived at Budapest and got transitional assistance from the Pentecost International Worship Centre (PIWC).

In a short term our colleagues reserved a decent hotel for 37 Ghanaian refugees and accompanied them to the place, until that, the first wave of arrivals was accommodated in their own homes by Pureco colleagues.

Through the Honorary Consul General for the Republic of Ghana to Hungary, Mr. Boldizsár Entz we helped them to organise and buy flight tickets back to Ghana.

During their stay we also organised football championship for the group as well.
